Some years back, there was a line that I read “if you want something small from someone, ask a big favour which might get declined & then go & call for a small favour which will be accepted” in the same way if someday you want win from a Disagreement, hear them out and accept it for once and then for the next 2-3 times you can lay the terms which will be accepted because you have heard & done the required thing it in the past”
This way it’s a win win for everyone
1.You tried something out of your comfort zone
2.They feel respected at the point and you will be respected in return.
3. Your view point will be taken care of the next time.
Indeed, a win win for both sides.
